@JamesPearceEcho: #LFC: Mignolet, Gomez, Sakho, Toure, Moreno, Can, Rossiter, Ibe, Coutinho, Lallana, Origi.

    8 changes, Sakho captain.

Time for Lallana and Ibe to show any sort of reason why they should be starting league games.

Bordeux have been the better team so far. Lallana and Origi are shit.

Rossiter has done the simple things well, I seen him in my Grandad's carehome, I think his Grandad also resides there.

We where lucky that Rubin Kazan's caption decided to stupidly get himself sent off because they where outplaying us and probably would have won. Before the game BT's pundits where making out that they are a shit team and we would batter them. But I guess they where wrong.

Good professional performance last night on a dire pitch away in Russia.

Klopp is certainly taking this competition seriously - I'm a little concerned that the players may burn out but he seems to be using the squad fairly well; Ibe, Allen and Lovren started meaning Coutinho, Lucas and Skrtel could have a rest but those 3 players did very well - obviously Ibe got the goal but looked very promising throughout. I think his confidence is building under Klopp. Under Rodgers he looked like Aaron Lennon for large parts - great pace and fairly strong at times but never looked like he believed he could affect a game.

Benteke and Firmino were great. It's such a shame that Sturridge and Ings are both injured as Benteke would allow them to have so many chances and they'd finish them off.

We look good to qualify now after 3 draws and a win. We probably need 2 or 3 points from the final 2 games.

3-0 - we blew Fiorentina away 12 months after weakly losing to them in the same round. Everyone jerking off over Klopp's pressing: what Pochettino have got Spurs doing off the ball swarming oppositions teams has got to be as good as there is right now. Fiorentina had no idea how to live with it.

Impressive victory for Tottenham and overall a great round for England which is what they needed with Italy creeping up on them in the coefficient table. Liverpool vs Man Utd should be exciting and sure to fire up both teams. Both must be calculating that they need to win the cup to qualify.

Some cracking ties. Obviously the Liv v Man United for history's sake. We drew the favourites in Dortmund, they look as good an attacking force as there is in Europe at the moment behind Barcelona. Given that first leg is straight after the North London derby, I don't hold too much hope of progress but that's ok, at best we beat the favourites and prove we have what it takes to go all the way, at worst we go out now instead of later and can concentrate on the league.

At this point there are more interesting games in the Europa than the CL, given we all know Bayern, Barcelona and Madrid are clearly streets ahead of everyone else.

Well all our best players were injured when we played you - it does make some difference. The first time was under Brendan as well when he was clearly on his last legs.

The FA Cup you got extremely lucky.

You should be destroying the Mancs this weekend though. Take De Gea away they'd be easily mid table or worse. How they're close to 4th is more embarassing for the league than Leicester being 5 clear at the top.

Kudos to Dortmund, head and shoulders above any other team we've played this year they were excellent and represent everything that is good and wholesome about football : team developed through shrewd scouting to compliment a healthy academy system, playing progressive attacking football with focus on transitions and incisiveness over benign possession, superb fans, great stadium and a modest and likeable manager. In other words, everything Spurs should and are aspiring to under Poch and the current back room staff.

They've got Liverpool next who I actually expect should give them a tougher game given the Klopp factor as well as they are not distracted by competing in a potential title race. That said I'd be surprised if Dortmund don't go through. They would win the PL at a canter.

Nerves kicking in now! I don't think we'll progress tonight because Dortmund will definitely score at least one and I'm never confident we can out score teams consistently.

The away goal we have is important as it forces Dortmund to go for the goal and if we can get our counters right we may have success.

    Team I'd like to see:

    -------------------Mignolet---------------------------

    ----Clyne-------Lovren------Sakho---------Moreno-----------

    -----------------Allen--------Can--------Milner---------------

    ---------Origi ----------Firmino------------Coutinho----------

I don't think you can start Sturridge ahead of Origi - Origi gives you the pace, can hold the ball up and can score at the minute whereas Sturridge won't give you the same work rate due to fitness issues but has the potential to be a game changer.

Klopp might start with Firmino on the bench though and have Sturridge and Origi up there.
