So does anyone know what boywonder Rossis goal was like.

I see he has now scored 4 goals already and fired Villareal to the top of the league. Whenever he is given the opportunity the boy scores goals.

Rossi's goal was a mistake by the keeper, but his two on Saturday were good. Here it is (today's goal). His is the 2nd one, Nihat with the first.

In the Murcia-Almeria game (which Murcia ended with 9 men), there was a funny incident - Almeria took a corner which hit a Murcia player on the chest. The ref whistled for a free kick because he thought it was handball. But the Murcia player was adamant, and took off his shirt to show the ref the mark of the ball on his body. So the ref gives him a second yellow for removing his shirt in the field of play!!!!

Only in La Liga lol! lol! lol!

Forlans goal was splendid, as was Sergios.

Watching 3 former united forwards tear it up in Spain, makes me wish we still had at least 2 of them at united.

IMO the Aguero goal wasn't that good. Yes, the cut back past Del Horno was good, but once he did that the space opened up for him to drive into the box.

It is funny since it happened to someone else, but if that happened to your team you would be furious. That ref should be suspended. That could end up costing Murcia at the end of the season.

He's out for 2 months. And tbh, I don't understand - Toure went in really hard, but he got the ball first as far as I could see.

Yesterday's match had a few casualties - Zambrotta got injured for a month in an earlier incident with Matuzalem, and Diogo had pins inserted in his arm, though I don't think any Barcelona player caused his injury.

I'm being honest, in the replays I felt he touched the ball. Anyway, that's the kind of tackle that Ramos and Cannavaro always make (though the latter misses them Laughing ) and get away with no foul or yellow all the time.

How did Mark Gonzalez miss that? Doh Blind idiot.

    Real madrid 0-0 Betis

Madrid are still a very careless side; playing Cr@p against teams they should easily beat.

Raul had some half chances early on in the match, apart from that Real haven't done any thing attacking wise. Betis on the other hand have had 2 100% chances, but luckily for Madrid none was taken. it should easily have been 0-2 though

Schuster got the lineup wrong based on things so far. Any idiot knows Cuper's team will come to defend, so you must play a more creative player than Higuain. ie. Robinho. Or stop being such a pussy about starting Robben, at least he'd stay wide instead of cutting in like Higuain is doing.

And Raul should have been rested for van Nistelrooy, because he's got on the end of a few chances but hasn't finished them off. Theoretically Saviola should do that job, but I don't think anyone knows exactly what use Saviola serves to a team, apart from popping up and grabbing a goal every now and then.

    @Kas

RVN failed a late fitness test. But even then, as I was saying in the Madrid thread, Saviola - Raul is a bad partnership and I would very much prefer to see Baptista there. Also, no point in using Diarra and 2 defensive fullbacks (Heinze + Torres) in a game against a team playing catenaccio.

    So madrid 1-0 up now.

    a dubious Raul penalty.

Robben had a goal disallowed minutes a go. There was nothing wrong with the goal imo, but i guess that cancels out the penalty decision
