So to think, we had a 0.90 points per game statistic and were bottom...yet this season 6 clubs have a worse one!

IMO this shows that the mid table teams are getting better as they are taking more points off the strugglers. Though, Bolton and Pompey have gotten worse, overall the mid table teams have gotten better.

    ok

Plus Liverpool and Arsenal have also got better, not dropping points against the smaller teams, e.g. Sheff Utd last season.

It looks like the biggest difference on terms of improvement are for Arsenal, City and Us...

For teams that have been worse...Bolton standing out by far...with Tottenham and Chelsea showing notable signs too.

West Ham would probably have even more points if it wasn't for all the injury problems.

True for a few of the games...but some it wasn't the case. We had a better team than Reading Saturday with 8 injured players...and still only drew.

There have been games where he have played well, but lacked one of our important players to finish the game off (Like the Portsmouth, Bolton and Spurs, even though they deserved a point from it...

I remain optimistic for the 2nd half of the season...with players like Bellamy, Bowyer, Faubert and Noble to all come back and be fit...I think we can keep tabs on the teams ahead of us. The gap isn't THAT big and can easily be made up.
