Last season Soldado played on several occasions for them whilst actually being registered for castilla (b team) in segunda with Javi Garcia and de la Red possibly being in a similar position this season what are the rules governing their appearances for the first team, if any?

As long as their registered to play for RM it doesnt really matter, they can be promoted and demoted from squads at any time.
The rule is in place for such circumstances such as an injury crisis outside the transfer window.

so if castilla were fighting relegation on the last weekend and your position in the primera was ensured ie couldn´t get any higher or lower, then theoretically the first team could play for castilla and save their arses that cannot be fair

Im afraid it only works in an upward direction, you can only play for Castilla if you are registered to play for them, and then can get premoted or demoted as the season concludes, I.E. Felipe brazilian LB has been registered in the Castilla so if he were to get called up he could get demoted in the same season.

If you want to conquer insomnia, read the above scintillating exchanges! TM and TFT are often used by police to sedate terrorists and hostage-takers. A senior police chief said:" We've tried stun-grenades, tear-gas, what-you-will. But most Islamic extremists will soon slump to the floor unconscious if you get them to read a TM post, especially if he's droning on about Real Madrid."
