Is Loovens anywhere near getting in the squad? he has been playing vvv well for Cardiff, who is he competing against altogether?

No, he is not even playing for the U21 team if im not mistaken. Because he comes from Feyenoord, he doesnt stand a chance.

Heitinga on the other hand Erm

You will see soon enough Frank, when you both support Loovens and Heitinga.

24 Already? We really need our own players more time to develop!! Have you seen Cardiff's stats with our without Loovens?

Well a player from Cardiff will never, ever play for Oranje I guess. But van Hooijdonck got selected when he was at Forrest in 2nd league though.

yeah much debate on it with him our record is phenominal, although v highly respected some are putting it down to how sh¡te purse is rather than it being totally dominated by loovens, Johnson has been a revelation for us too, him and loovens have formed a vv good partnership. i'm sure we'd struggle if johno was out for a while and loovens ahd to play with purse. stll has been v good, can see him leaving in the summer for better things tbh.

Saw you paid us 700k for him, not bad! You think he can handle the EPL level? You will get at least good money for him!

Shame he couldnt show his skills for us..allthough he never really got a real chance.

Roger Johnson is the brains in that partnership. If anyone's playing at a higher level it's him ok

Haven't seen Loovens too often. he went away too early. That's a bit his problem.

What is his strength? is he a centre back with footballing qualities? with a good pass? I type "Frank de Boer"...? Such a player we need

Or we need a very good header, physically very strong and tall...

I doubt he is the missing link in the Oranje squad.... But who knows....

that's him, reasonably good positional sense, good never say die attitude, reasonably good footballer by british standards but not by dutchie standards. excellent header of the ball, decentish tackler although mis-times occasionally hence a few too many sendings off. needs to work on hos concentration, although like gabbidon at cardiff before him the harder the challenge the better he does with this aspect
