Why are the Chelsea players always moaning? Every few months there's some leak saying how they are questioning this and that or arguing with the coaches.

Anyway, I think he keeps Deco on because when Chelsea have these home games they've found tricky, where opponents are parking the bus and sitting deep, Deco is the kind of player who has the creativity and flair to potentially create a goal out of nothing. Ballack and Lampard can create out of good movement and finishing, but not invent something like Deco can.

Scolari is talking about how he doesn't have a dribbler, or in other words, a matchwinner, in his team...sounds like he may need to reconsider Joe Cole being played out wide. Or buy someone. Till then, Deco is the only option he's got.

I honestly believe the league wouldn't be much of a contest if they had got him. Chelsea seem to run out of ideas a lot more these days.

Ballack's not the same player he was 5 or 6 years ago, and he's not close to being the best midfielder Chelsea have. I can see him struggling to get into the side when Essien returns to full fitness. Chelsea did well with Ballack in the side last season, but they did even better before he joined the club.

I can understand the Germans frustration, it must be sad to see your best player, the only player you have who is nearly good enough to play for a top team in the best league in the world, but there are worst places he could be, and being back-up for Frank Lampard is no shame.

Thought Mikel should have gone off at the weekend but Scolari doesn't seem to keen on Ballack.
In the summer I would have been glad to have Ballack in the team instead of Lampard.
I'm sure he will come back to form soon and I think it should come at the expense of Deco.

Thing is taking Mikle out of the equation unbalances the side as they found out against Arsenal.

Chelsea were lucky not to lose at the weekend anyway.

What exactly did that untouchable Chelsea squad win last season? In a team whose success is measured by trophies Grant failed and you are only praising him because he played Ballack. Scolari selected Ballack against Cluj. He did okay, but wasn't spectacular. Scolari has earned the right to pick who he wants and Chelsea were hardly unwatchable with or without Ballack. By the way Scolari praised Ballack as well after Cluj match. Funny you didn't mention that.

Yeah right! And were Chelsea the better team in every match on route to CL final. Ultimately being the better team meant precisely f@ck all. They lost with Ballack playing under Avram Grant. Under Mourinho Chelsea won titles, under Grant they didn't. How many medals did Ballack win under Grant compared to under Mourinho - winner's medals that is? Think about that.

By the way, do you think Germany was the better team in the European Championship final? Were they the best team in that tournament? Yes or no and explain why.

I think Deco has been appalling his passes were not finding targets against WH , they played infront of the defense surely Boswinga and A Cole could have stretched WH with Lampard and Ballack making runs into the box.

Well Kas i remember predicted before the season that he would lose form as the season would continue.perhaps this is what is happening now where Chelsea have lost some of that form.

I said the same thing, it was clear after last season that he can't maintain his peak fitness/form for a full season anymore. He'll be ready for big games, but week in week out, nah.
