    Classical matches Empty Classical matches

Post by Super Progress Thu Dec 18, 2008 9:04 pm

I have wanted to make this thread for some time now. Sometimes i have like to download some of the great games Real have played some years ago. Just to remember how great it once was with the galaticos especially when the current team is Cr@p.
however it is also just interesting to see how football has changed. one match i saw was the legendary Brazil vs Italy from 1982 which came to be a definding moment for Brazillian football. must say i was a little disapointed with it the tempo but it was still pretty good.

Currently im downloading Brazil-Holland from 94. only seen clips from this game but looked like a super game really. it can be downloaded here:

No...this was three years earlier. We drew 0-0 in the Bernabeu and beat you guys 3-2 in Old Trafford. Was a top match, Keane scored an own goal and then Raul had a second half double. The third goal followed an absolutele piece of genius from Redondo.

I remember someone posting links to large pieces of that match a while ago, to show especially how good Van Hanegem was in those days. It's from before my "time", so I had never seen it before : I sat watching with my mouth open.....I couldn't believe how easy this Dutch team was *destroying* Argentina.

It's an incredibly one-sided game, but it's total football at it's best.

The longest piece I could find now is a 6 minute highlight....

10 minutes from the hardest WC match ever : Brazil - Holland 1974

It's just insane what is allowed here, nowadays the match would have been suspended after 15 minutes because more than 3 players from 1 team would have been sent off.

    ....not back then....

I still wonder why the Brazilians singled out Neeskens : it looks like they're trying to murder them in the beginning.

....after that it's payback time for Johan Segundo Twisted Evil

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTs2iwMqVMg

Hmmpf, this clip just shows the footballing bits (not bad to be honest), but hardly any of the dirty fouls made this outtake Erm
