Essentially a must win for Atletico and they may have to do it without Kun Aguero who is struggling with a muscular injury. Yikes

How about Bayern & Real ?

There are a lot of managers under pressure for whom a loss this match day might result in the boot...

The problem with the group phase isn't that big teams never struggle but that they almost never fail. I can only remember Man Utd in recent times that failed to reach the last 16. So it is all good to have some trouble for the big teams but in the end we know how it is going to end up. With that said I would add that this year the groups have perhaps been a bit closer and at the moment Bayern/Liverpool/Inter are not in good positions. Liverpool in particular might be the first big team in a while that doesn't make it.

A draw for us will ensure qualification. Draw for Porto should effectively wrap the group up too (and obviously wins for both teams will guarantee qualification). Been all too comfortable in the CL so far, but the next 2 games (Atletico away and Porto away) should give a good indication of the weaknesses in the team.

And on the plus side, Drogba is back from suspension. Ale

They do line up as a 4-2-3-1 with Dinho and Pato wide and cutting-in, with Seedorf flanking when needed.

well goal.com lists it as 4-2-3-1, but i guess it isn't a very rigid formation with Dinho, Seedorf and Pato having alot of freedom.

Man United have gone with a back 4 of Neville - Brown - Evans - Fafu

with Owen and Macheda up front.

Such a horrible team, against the supposed 2nd strongest team in their group.

    Such a farcical draw
