    Best signing:
For Man Utd, the best signing has to be Ronaldo.

Signed for £12m, sold for £80m

As a winger he scored 118 goals in 244(48) games.

    Help the team win:
    Premier League x 3
    FA Cup
    League Cup x 2
    Champions League
    FIFA Club World Cup

    Worst signing:
Veron, although he did help Man Utd win the league.

    Best signing: Torres

Wins games on his own, is the best striker in the world and got him at a bargain price.

Worst signing: There's been a few. Diao, Diouf, Voronin, Dossena, Babel. Pick one.

    Best

Dinho of course, change the course of the club.

what he did in that 1st season for me was the catalysis for all that came after, he made the club respected again after six years of shit and made the likes of deco and eto'o interested in coming to the club and the rest as they say is history. Greatest player of his generation, club legend.

Best signing: Hard to say really. This has been a decade of inflated transfer fees (even for the good players). I guess for me it's probably Gonzalo Higuain. The one piece of decent business (only paid 13m for him) that Calderon did and he's gone from being a good footballer with a lot of potential to a real top goalscorer. Scores big, big goals. Has tremendous self-belief and a will to win.

Worst signing: So many to choose from. Woodgate deserves a shout - 20m euro for a player who only made 9 appearances for the club. Paying 16m euro for Emerson who is the post child for anti-footballing thugs, even Capello lost faith in him eventually. Or what about 14m for the Dutch Roberto Carlos, aka Royston 'Double R' Drenthe. Flavio Conceicao - 20m for a one-season wonder (Deportivo) who went on to be complete and utter sh!t for us. Still, I am going to go with Cicinho and I will explain why. In the first place, whilst a pretty good footballer he was an absolutely sh!t defender. And at the time we bought him there were already 4 other right backs in the squad meanwhile just the one left back. He was the epitome of the f*cked up transfer policy just before Florentino's resignation in 2006. Add to the fact he was a little whinging bitch, he was the worst.

    @Glenn

I'd say Reina was better value than Alonso to be honest.

Worst: Mario Jardel, signed for 28m $, sold for 6m $, he played only a year.

Best: Harry Kewell, he's contributed the club a new atmosphere and given the fans a significant energy. All fans of our club like him, I think he is a great professional and very simpatico.
