Re: Premier League 27,28 February
Palace getting hammered by WBA. Football can be quite enjoyable when we're not playing.

10 without a win in the league, 7 defeats and 3 draws.

Right in what exactly...?Kimbo wrote:

Unless Crystal Palace will go down (very small possibility, despite horrible form) you were wrong.
We were all right about Wickham being a terrible transfer though and blame for this one goes on Pardew exclusively.

Right about Pardew being a shit manager. It's gone exactly the way Newcastle fans predicted, he starts well enough then turns into the worst manager in the world. I'm just wondering if it will be Palace fans and forrins to blame this time.

If his time in Newcastle is any indicator here, he is also someone able to bounce back, has a thick skin as well and can deal well with fans negativity.Kimbo wrote:stinger wrote:Right in what exactly...?Kimbo wrote:

Shit manager and still finish over Newcastle (probably). Didn't check any Crystal Palace opinions on him, but such a cold streak can really hurt manager in fans eyes (like Allardyce last year in WHU).

He never bounced back at Newcastle, towards the end of the season in 2012 things went downhill and never recovered. Occasionally a player would dig out a couple of results for him, but as a team Newcastle were done.
He's good at dealing with negativity from fans because he lives in a parallel universe where he's never to blame. This is a man that thinks it's ok to walk into a cafeteria and take someones plate from in front of them, think about the mentality involved in that.

Re: Premier League 27,28 February
Yes, it's always Pardew fault when things go wrong, but it's always a players when things go right.
You remind me Catalan press, for example during van Gaal era. When they lost 3:4 to Valencia (after leading 3:0 at HT): "First half players won 3:0. Second half van Gaal lost 0:4".
Agendas

Re: Premier League 27,28 February
...... the same thing has happened at every club How can this still be up for debate. Go and look at what Palace fans are saying, the exact same things Newcastle fans said, and Charlton fans, and West Ham fans. The exact same things I was complaining about for 2 years while apparently being an agenda driven nutter.
IF they stay up Parish will sack him by christmas. Lets see.

Re: Premier League 27,28 February
Kimbo's right about Pards, same pattern at every club
So very true. Not sure how he's winged it for this long at an allegedly elite level club. And he thinks he's a number 9 FFS!
And Ian Wright treats him like another of his sons, then again his career path isn't dissimilar to SWP's.
Walcott - only difference in ten years is that he now has a beard.
He's proof that Wenger is in decline. He doesn't want to admit he was wrong and keeps insisting that Walcott is still developing as a player
