Re: Liverpool v Bordeaux
Rafa has shot himself in the foot a little today? If they win 4-0 the press will be having a go saying we should have been stable all along. I hate the press.

Re: Liverpool v Bordeaux
We're controlling, Garcia's goal was well crafted, but we lack a bit of pace upfrount. Riise isn't playing very well imoCOTR wrote:how are we playing... any way back for bordeaux???

Re: Liverpool v Bordeaux
I don't think we played particularly well today, just that Bordeaux were awful. They came for a point, that much is obvious, but when they pushed up looking for an equalizer our lack of pace upfront was highlighted while Gerrard leaves Finnan exposed to often. As you would expect once theuy were down to 10 men we dominated, but 3-0 for me papers over the cracks.
Positives, we broke them down well at 0-0, the goalkeeper looked solid and the clean sheet will be nice for his confidence. I also liked the way Carragher and Hyppia played especially at 0-0, Hyppia wasn't afraid of geting forward all game and our height at set pieces is intimidating.
No one will want to face us next, poor Reading!
