    I was quite surprised by that. With all the stick they have given us over the summer, I though we'd be 3rd, 4th or 5th. The write up is quite accurate as well.

    I would hardly say that Emre is a key player for the Toon either

    yes if he can get his ass in gear and actually play to his potential

    They have more options then last year which is the critical thing, Ballack and Sheva won't make a difference to their style of play or the ease in which they win. It simply gives them more options.

    Sides will still have them figured out like last season but they will just drive straight into them as it were.

    chelsea are the clear favourites...

    a lot of neutrals seem to have liverpool as 2nd favourites but to me all of liverpool, united and arsenal have the potential to put a good title run together...
