I just think it's absolutely disgraceful, the whole thing, Uefa are disgraceful and unfortunately so are a minority of Liverpool fans.
The ticket allocation was far too small, everyone knew it, and so they had to expect the 40-50,000 that travelled over, Liverpool fans travel where ever, with a ticket or not to see their team, but it's just not acceptable to go to the game without a ticket and steal someone elses seat that they have worked hard to pay for and have arranged flights, accomodation etc only to find someone else is in there seat.
People got in even without a ticket, how on earth did that happen, I know someome who went as a group of 4 mates and they all got in with only two tickets between them, so who on earth was checking the tickets? as far as we were told there were 3 security checks, but then they all just seem to be abandoned to let the fans in, many of which just snuck in without a ticket.
I can understand that Liverpool fans felt a right to be in that stadium, many were deeply saddended not to get a ticket and felt Uefa's allocation was disgusting, which is true, it was always going to cause problems, but to put other fans in danger is not on and the police didn't seem to care.
It's just all very sad for football and Uefa have handled it badly, they gave a very small allocation of 17,000, they knew more Liverpool fans would be in the stadium then that but they refused to give more tickets, why not let Liverpool be in charge of the tickets for these 'extra' fans rather than making them buy on the black market for thousands of pounds, Uefa need to take a serious look at what happened and make drastic changes for next season.
