    Quagliarella awaits Man Utd move

Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella is on Manchester United's wanted list and is waiting for the Premier League Champions to make their move.

United have been linked with a £10m move for Quagliarella, 23, but his agent says many clubs are interested.
Silvio Pagliari told BBC Sport: "I know there's some interest from Manchester United. I'm very proud of it, as he is.
"But United have had no contact with me or with Sampdoria. He'd be keen on playing in England, for sure."
Earlier in the week Quagliarella claimed United had upped a reported £10m bid to secure his services.

But Pagliari says no concrete offers have been made and they will bide their time before choosing Quagliarella's destination.
"We have many things to think of, as many big clubs in Italy too are interest in a player like Fabio," added Pagliari.
"We can talk about Inter Milan, Juventus, Man Utd, Chelsea - this is no problem for the player as they are all massive clubs.
"I don't know when Fabio will decide his future but the transfer window is open until 31 August and we have no perference at the moment.
"The first club that shows us they want to sign Fabio Quagliarella, we are ready to play with them.
"The fee will be between £10-13.5m, that will be enough for Sampdoria and Udinese, who own half of his registration."
Quagliarella made his first start for Italy against Lithuania in the recent Euro 2008 qualifier and scored two stunning goals in a 2-0 victory.
Pagliari says playing in England would not affect his chances of regularly playing for his country.
"There is no doubt that Fabio would be interested in playing in the Premier League because it is a very important league," said Pagliari.
"As a child he used to watch Premier League games on television and if we can speak with the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal he would like that very much.
"Coming to England would hold no fears for Fabio as far as representing his country, absolutely not."
Quagliarella made 35 Serie A appearances for Sampdoria last season and scored 13 goals in the process.

His pimp, I mean agent, is really selling him to anyone that is interested.

He has scored some awesome goals this season, if he is going to replace Smith then I would be delighted.

Smells like a fishing expedition from his agent to me.

Good player but I think Manchester United need a great scorer of goals rather than a scorer of great goals

I'm not sure, we basically need a Saha but without the injuries and I wouldn't say Saha is a great scorer of goals.

He was just an excellent target man and good at linking with Ronaldo and Rooney.

I don't know much about Quagliarella but he does seem like that player, whether he's as good in the air as Saha or as quick I don't know.
