Nope, nothing for the 25 minutes he was on. Lampard-esque.

Liverpool's lack of creativity though is shambolic.

He played right wing for some bizzare reason, none of our strikers were particularly impressive today, there was very little space

You can't really judge the new players on pre-season.

But looking at Garcia's wondergoal yesterday, I think Liverpool will rue letting him go. Why not just pay more for Torres and keep Garcia?

Was a very weird decision from Rafa. Good that he opened up his account against Shanghai, but still a lot to prove in the game against Villa at the weekend.

Agreed, however Torres has only started one game for us...and scored in it, so that's positive, I honestly think Benayoun should play, he's impressed me in this tournament and he linked up well with Torres, the main concern going into the Villa game is who plays on the left, I thought Babel did reasonably well today when he came on, better than his other pre-season performaces definately

100% agree, Simao would of been perfect,

I think Torres, Benayoun and Simao would have been ideal for what we needed to improve on, I think Babel will be a very good player, but I'm not sure he can contribute enough to win us the league this season, whereas someone like Simao could

This is where they were lost last season and the season before that also.

You play with 2 dms like they usually do then you better have 4 very good creative players. But they barely have one.

The tone was set by the Feyenoord players, that was obvious. Typical tactics by a lesser team.

Liverpool didn't have a player sent off last season at all, our discipline record is excellent (and we have Sissoko). This is the worst possible friendly match you could ask for tbh.
