Yes i know its only 3 games into the new season BUT Lyon have lost ( 2-1 away at Lorient) for the second game in a row and look a shadow of last years team.

Everyone knows what Alan Perin can be like as a coach and it doesnt look good for lyon so far, although PSG also only have 2 points and Marseille 2 points.

So will they recover to come good or will their domination of French football come to an end this season ?

TBH ive loved watching them over the last few seasons but im worried that their team is not as strong as it has been over the last few years and they might struggle when the Champs League starts. Yes they have some great young players but they have let go the likes of Malouda, Tiago, Abidal, Diarra etc and im not sure they have been properly replaced.

If so; it would be very healthy for French football, I think.

I don't think it's the end of Lyon's domination because all the other big clubs are already struggling and are on par with Lyon.

It doesn't look good at all, but there are a lot of injured players (Coupet, Fred, Cris, Ben Arfa), or new players that need more time (Bodmer, Keita, behjad, Grosso), and a new manager (Perrin). It should be better in a month. Still 12 days to new buy players. pale

    Agree.

It doesn't matter if Lyon slump because none of the other decent clubs (Marseille, PSG, Monaco) are in a position to capitalise.

    Maybe Bordeaux could do something.
