The worst thing you can do when completing a wind up is acknowledge that it is a wind up.
You've got a lot to learn

Ask for some advice from parky on how to do them properly. He has years of experience.
In answer to your question id say 4 or 5 more games.

Could be as much as five more games looking at the fixture list. But I think we'll batter Wigan and Birmingham.

I still have some crazy bet that we'll score more then 'Pool by game eight. Made it before Derby game. It was insane considering the relative fixtures. 100 points down the drain

OK Owen, remake the bet with me now.
By what date will you overtake Liverpool's goal difference?

Difficult, you have a difficult October and November but an easy September (bar Portsmouth). But I'll be ambitious (again) and say game 12. Deal? 100 points.

You're on
So your game 12 (if my calcs are correct) is away to Arsenal on 3 Nov; ours is v Fulham on 10 Nov. And the bet is for goal difference not goals scored.

Well, Liverpool scored 2 goals away against Sunderland, Man U could only manage 1 at home.
So Man U might get 3 against Derby, if the ref does them the usual favours

God I should know this board better...
I was going to post this myself on behalf of our Liverpool friends, with "11 goals" instead of ten, yesterday on having a look at the table – after Spanky's "How many games will it take Liverpool to score eight goals" that I seem to remember from last season.
I think the answer to said question is a good 18, at least at the current rate.
To be fair I think the Mancs have had it pretty easy on here...

Obviously more games than it takes Liverpool fans to start rehashing the 17 year old phrase that; "this is our year"
If we were playing Derby next, I would say 1 game, but as we're playing Everton and Chelsea in our next 2 games, then probably 4 more games (9 matches).

Watching ManU's strikers currently brings the Proverbial barn door to mind. I was shouted at when I pointed out that Fergie badly needed to buy a finisher.
Now how many games will Saha start before getting crocked again. Or is it going to be Rooney and Tevez to start with Saha coming on as super sub.
Either way unless Ronaldo has a blinder of a season like last one, Man U will struggle for goals.
Coming back to the point, at current levels it will take them at least 5 more games to score the additional 7 goals required to reach the 10 goal mark.
But the good thing is that their defense has been good so far.

How can our strikers not hit a barn door?
Rooney has only played 45 minutes, the same as Saha and Saha scored in his 45 minutes.

I'm with Pierre in that you needed a Zlatan/Adebayor/*Berbatov* type upfront....#
...*Obviously you have no chance with the latter Still reckon that you should've taken Adriano on loan.

Tevez and even O'Shea as a striker also count. But then they were not expected to be finishers.
