Scandinavia is a historical and geographical region centered on the Scandinavian Peninsula in Northern Europe which includes the three kingdoms of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The other Nordic countries, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands, are also often included because of their close historic and cultural relations to Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

They also compete in the Scandinavian Cup...therefore can be included. They are all classed as Nordic countries. Please post something about football...instead of a pathetic comment. Some of you seriously need to get a life.

I would probably have Tainio in there. Maybe Isaksson in goal as well.

Agger, Riise, Poulson, Gamst and Ibrahimovic are obvious certs.

So you have City's sub keeper ahead of Bolton's first keeper? Especially one who Rennes couldn't wait to get rid of. Schmeichel I could understand, but fucking Isaksson?

Saturday was a night of dreams for Norway, Sweden did very well with a draw and Denmark is pwnd big time. I doubt they will get through, if so they need serious help. But then again, just last March it was very dark for Norway, and see where we are now

There are, but it's true, we do have a problem when it comes to talents and giving them a chance on the national team.

Tettey (watch up for this one!), Skjelbred, Jarstein, Brenne, Vaagan Moen, and Fredheim Holm, are all pretty young boys. But you won't see any 17-18 years old on the national team in the nearest future, no.

Well as it stands...not too good for the Nordic countires...

    Sweden are through near enough...
Finland have a tough task, but hopefully can do it...
    Denmark are out...
Norway losing at home to Turkey has fucked them right up...
Iceland losing to Latvia twice and 3-0 to Liechtenstein hasn't exactly helped...
    Faroe Islands...scored a couple of goals I think...great achievement.

Shame that only Sweden will make it. Play a lot of people from these countries in poker and they are all very humble and helpful. I prefer Norway but they fucked up when it mattered most Sad

Yeah it's really sad, especially hard to take for Denmark. It feels really bad how Norway fucked up the great chance they had, Norwegian football really needed something good like the Euro 08. None of us is simply not good enough Sad

I don't know...I wasn't happy...I think they only drew 1-1 at home with them too. They are a strange side. They won't ever get near to qualifying, as they pick up results that you'd never expect them to, then f@ck up at ones that they should win.
