To try and find this out i need you to list two teams.

Team A: Will be made up of academy/youth players still at the club.

Team B: Will be made up of academy/youth players no longer at the club but still playing professional football.

    e.g. Man Utd

    Team A:
    Heaton

    G. Neville . . . Brown . . . Evans . . . O'Shea

    Fletcher . . . Gibson

    Eagles . . . . . Scholes . . . . . Giggs

    Campbell

    Team B: ?
    GK?

    P. Neville . . . McShane . . Higginbotham . . Spector

    Beckham . . . . Butt . . . . D. Jones* . . . . Gillespie

    Ebanks-Blake . . . Healy . .

    * or Robbie Savage but he played as a striker for Man Utd at youth level.

    Question?
Man Utd signed Kieran Richardson in 2001 from West Ham when he was 16/17, He has spent 6 years at Man Utd before signing for Sunderland. Is he a Man Utd youth product or West Ham?

Because Man Utd also signed Pique(Barca) and Rossi(Parma) when they were both 17, but i consider Richardson a Man Utd youth player more than Pique and Rossi.

What about Fabregas for Arsenal, does it depend on how good the player was when you signed him?

Its too tough to do a squad. Our academy is improving though and we have a lot of very good players developing at all youth levels.

I'm not sure if Cesc etc count as we bought most of them when they were about 16

    Arsenal FC

    Team B:
    Taylor

    Halls . . . Garry . . Chilvers . . Cole

    Pennant . . . . Muamba . . . . Sidwell . . . . . Thomas

    Bentley . . . Cole. .

I didn't do Part A, as there are not enough players to choose from that I consider to be actual academy graduates. I don't think of players like Fabregas as our acedemy graduate, Barcelona taught him to play football and by the time he was 16 he was already a youth World Champion. I guess the only current player we have is Hoyte. Arsenal should be grateful to UEFA for allowing the likes of Fabregas and Clicky to be homegrown as they spent three years at the club before their 21st birthdays.

Richardson is our product. He came through our academy. It's different with John Terry and Sol Campbell as they both left when they were about 14...

    --G-Johnson---R-Ferdinand---A-Ferdinand---Konchesky

Others: Fitz Hall, Jlloyd Samuel, Freddy Eastwood, Kieran Richardson, Daniel Sjolund*, Elliot Ward, Chris Cohen, Adam Newton, Enzomo Iriekpen.

Olmo left the club for Racing de Ferrol. We can put Valiente instead. Not sure about a LB either.

As for the other type of team, let me give it a shot:

    Reina

    Damia--Pique--Fernando Navarro

    Arteta--Cesc--Gerard--Motta--De La Pena

    Sergio Garcia--Luis Garcia

There's also Verdu and Cristian who both play for Depor, and Rodri and Olmo who play in La Segunda

Not much left to be honest we got rid of most of the castilla talent this summer.

Raul, Guti, Torres, Casillas are the only ones left. Balboa, and Bueno are also there, but no defenders.

We have some exciitng prospects such as Javi Garcia, De La Red, Granero, Adrian Gonzalez, Agus have all been loaned/sold w/ buy back clause to allow them to gain experience.
