Who will Manage to get through tonight

    Anorthosis Famagusta v Tottenham, (agg 1-6), R1, L2, 15:45

    Pretty much a foregone conclusion

    Blackburn v Larissa, (agg 0-2), R1, L2, 20:00

Difficult but imho they have a reasonable chance

    Bolton v Rabotnicki Kometal, (agg 1-1), R1, L2, 20:00

It's going to be difficult given their current form

    FC Metalist Kharkiv v Everton, (agg 1-1), R1, L2, 19:45

VVVVVVV difficult for Everton, think they'll go out

    Spurs will, obviously.

Bolton its a toss up. Sammy Lee seems completely out of his depth though so I'm not holding onto hopes.

Blackburn have a real uphill struggle, but IMO its not impossible.

Moyes seems clueless in Europe. Everton's record is tragic. They'll go out

i really can see a situation where there is only one team left. can easily see a 2-2 for bolton, blackburn prob have the best chance of the 3 but feel they've left themselves too much to do, they need a goal in the first 15 to put the sh¡ts up the other side

We can take hope from Marseille - doing poor in the league, but I believe we can go a long way in this - just got to avoid Bayern & the Viola.

Are Spurs starting Robinson tonight? I heard Jol wants to play him to try to build his confidence up a bit. Spurs are comfortably through and ought to win tonight as well.

The other three ties are very open, I think Blackburn have the best chance of overturning their defecit, but I wouldn't want to predict any of these ties, they could go either way.

    Dont be a pessimist TS,

Bring on Bayern says I. We fear no one.

You score 1? Well then we'll score , erm, 1 aswell. Sometimes 2. And the probably concede another.

Our attack is capable of opening up any defense in the UEFA cup. Then again, our defence , and GK, are extremely polite and tend to openly share gifts with the opposition strikers. Gents, every last one of them

I want Spurs to draw the Viola, just to prove how overrated they are

    UEFA Cup
    BATE v Villarreal, (agg 1-4), R1, L2, 18:45
    FC Twente v Getafe, (agg 0-1), R1, L2, 19:45
    Kayseri Erciyesspor v Atletico Madrid, (agg 0-4), R1, L2, 17:00
    Real Zaragoza v Aris Salonika, (agg 0-1), R1, L2, 20:00

tonight could put a lot of pressure on the ECL teams to keep england pressurising Spain, wh seem much better placed to get teams through. Zaragoza if they play as they did last weekend should be OK, Getafe if they play as they did last weekend BUT take their chances have a decent chance

Is this going to be Boateng's debut? The German posters say that he is a talented player so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

And thanks for posting the team, I didn't realise the match had already started, it gives me something to watch this afternoon.

heard good things about boateng following chat on hertha.

spurs team sums them up its not much worse than monday, they have a big squad of similar quality players but no top drawer players

0-0 at halftime in the Spurs game. Defoe missed two great chances in the time that I was watching the game (last 15 minutes of the half).
