Good Makaay is getting in shape in time for the match v Ajax. Highlight of the match Luigi Bruins' assist for the 3-0. Glad Greene is back thought he played quite well. Same goes for Bahia. Lucius (again) was our worst defender. Basic mistake (he played everybody onside when play was in front of him) lead to Groningen's goal & he made the same mistake another 2 times. Apart from one slip up Wijnaldum looked very strong. Easy 3-1 win, no one will be tired for Sunday's match v De Graafschap.

I thought Greene was pretty poor. No concentration, no decent built up play and seemed pretty clumsy with the ball.

That bit will improve (confident about that) defensively he was sound, had some great interceptions & blocks.

I would drop Lucius for Greene without a thought. Prefer Greene as right fullback. Greene offers more going forward & footballwise than either Lucius or Vlaar or Hofland (not that difficult).

Was not his night. What I liked is that he kept on trying to get past an opponent. Hate wingers, who if they don't get past their fullback, give up after trying 2 times. About wingers Slory is close to match fitness. Will offer us something different.
