Doesnt really matter who you get, you have to beat the best to win.

Besides the bar looks pretty high this season considering the current European champs are 3rd, 2nd place isn't bad

Should be no major surprises with the lineup tonight, only questions is whether Cannavaro will be fit to play. If not, Ramos to the centre and Salgado in at right back.

Salgado and Raul on the right would be a big mistake IMO. No pace whatsoever on the right hand side. We would see shades of the Beckham/Salgado combo in the beginning of the season. If both players are on the starting lineup, I think it would be better if Raul plays on the left and Robinho on the right. Then we could get a better blend of defense and attack on either wing.

The penalty was clear, i don't expect a anti madrid fan like yourself so see it though. The ref was terrible, European refs tend to be " caseros " i guess we got the exception. He was Norwegian as is Carew ...
