Any goalie can have a bad game. How convenient that you mention the Werder Bremen game as an example, when it was BY FAR Casillas' worst game of the season. As a matter of fact, I would go as far as saying it was his ONLY bad game all season. And even in that game he made 2 or 3 amazing saves.

Even in the era of the Galacticos with the likes of Zidane and Figo, if you ask Barcelona fans which Madrid player they would choose not to play against them, 9 out of 10 would say Casillas.

The only goalies I could accept anyone claiming are better than Casillas are Buffon and Cech, though personally I would only put Buffon ahead with Cech about on par with Casillas.

Casillas is without a doubt, the best shotstopper in the world and would also make a case for him being the best goalie at one-on-ones. He's not great at crosses (partly due to his height), but he's gotten a lot better in them throughout the years.

But please, don't compare him with Lehman ffs!!! If we made a list of every dumb thing that psycopath has done we would need 50 file cabinets to keep all the records. Even in the CL campaign where he played really well with Arsenal, he still had to screw it all up by going back to his psycho self and getting a red card in the final.
