Comparing the first place clubs with the CL drop-outs, anyone think clubs not finishing 1st in the Uefa cup groups would rather face the CL clubs?
I wondered that, but I dont think it will make much difference, seond and third place teams will have equally tough games, but there is always the luck of the draw available to one or two teams in those positions, especially the ones who finished 3rd,so yes, might be a slight advantage to finish 3rd.

Any team coming up against Bayern in the next round would do well to ignore this score,as it was helped along by an inept display of goalkeeping.

    ok

Great site, seems to be the choice of many. I wonder if we could get some of the posters from their forum over here.

Portugal clawing it's way back up the ranking, but still has a huge montain to clime if it's going to back into 6th place.

Fiorentina can't play Bayern from what I understand as they finsihed 2nd and will face a CL club.

There are a few clubs I'd like to avoid: Atlético, Fiorentina, Tottenham...and the Russians.

    Doesn't leave much left...maybe Basel.

Between the likes of Atleti, Fior and Spurs, I'd rather face the London club as I think Sporting's passing and technical play would be greater than theirs and difficult for them to handle. Neither Atleti nor Fior would be too impressed with that kind of play and have dangerous guys up front... I'd like to avoid them.

In the end however, I think reaching the final of this years cup won't be easy and it has the potential to be a good final with quality sides from big clubs.

Ok, so Fiorentina still have their match to play so I guess they could still finish 3rd in their group but I doubt they will.

Even if AEK beat Villarreal, I'd still expect Fior to win at home and stay in 2nd.

If AEK beat Villareal (unlikely), then Fiorentina may finish first!

Anyways, they could finish anywhere from 1st to 4th, so lets see what happens tonight... they need a draw to qualify.

Better Everton line-up than I expected. Come on AZ!

According to Van Gaal, AZ will play with Pelle & Cziommer up front with Dembele close behind them.

It's always so difficult predicting who will play in the UEFA cup. I'm missing at least three of my FF side today. It's not going to be a good gameweek at all.

Yep, I made 8 substitutions this week to make sure I will get 11 players scoring points, unfortunately only Ribery & Song delviered so far, so I need a few player a blinder tonight.

Has Modric's goal been ruled out? The scoreline seems to be 0-0 and in the FF he went from 8 to 3 points.
