Betis have signed David Odonkor from Borussia Dortmund to replace Joaquin. Discuss.

Yes, but that's coming on as a sub when the full backs are tired, the same applies to Lennon. I guarantee he won't be as impressive playing the full 90 minutes

i honestly was not even impressed with him at the world cup... what did he do... run past a few people before hammering a poor ball in... he's a vastly inferior version of cisse for me and cisse isn't up to much himself... doubt he'll be a big success but he'll no doubt have his moments

His crossing is quite poor. I never saw much of him for Dortmund so I only am judging based on the world cup but it looked to me like he has pace and little more.

David Odonkor's a weird one for me...

He's very fast - but he's quite a poor dribbler IMHO, but he's actually got a very good delivery - certainly compared to some of the other wingers that we would call "speed merchants"

On the Lennon comparism, for natural ability the English player is streets ahead - but Odonkor has a more consistent delivery.
