Germany no longer favourites for the EC

after last nights abysmal performance.

Will they even win a single game at the EC this time ?

The 3:0 was rather flattering. I thought we were $h!t in the first half, and Lehmann is finished. Still, we got our act together in the second half and it was only a friendly afterall.

I think Germany are still one of the favourites, but that was an atrocious performance. The thing is Austria are arguably Euro2008's weakest team. I predicted Germany would go all the way to the Final, but my fears that Klinsmann made a very average bunch of players look good are coming true. His emphasis on fitness and speed compensated for an obvious lack of quality.

Good grief, some people are hasty to jump to conclusions and write headlines on the basis of one day's news. I'm tempted to say it's all bullshit.

I only repeated it because even though the topics were different, they spoke of German quality in some capacity.

De 3-0 overwinning van Duitsland op Oostenrijk kon bondscoach Joachim Löw niet gelukkig stemmen. Bovendien zorgde doelman Jens Lehmann met een 'black-out' voor extra rumoer.

'We hebben fouten gemaakt in de spelopbouw, we hebben fouten gemaakt in de organisatie, we hebben fouten gemaakt in het positiespel, en het tempo en de bereidheid te bewegen ontbraken', mopperde Löw, die tijdens de eerste helft woedend tegen de bank trapte en in de pauze zijn spelers de mantel uitveegde in de kleedkamer. 'Over de eerste helft kán ik niet tevreden zijn.'

Doelman Lehmann droeg bij aan de onrust, door in de eerste helft driemaal in korte tijd te blunderen. Voer voor de Duitse media om opnieuw de discussie aan te zwengelen over de positie van de reservekeeper van Arsenal en het gebrek aan speeltijd van deze 38-jarige goalie. Haast alle bladen spraken over de 90 Blackout-Sekunden van Lehmann.

Bondscoach Löw probeerde direct de discussie te smoren. 'Ik wil niet meteen de schuld zoeken in het gebrek aan wedstrijdritme. Jens Lehmann heeft al bewezen dat hij, ook als hij enkele weken niet heeft gespeeld, geconcentreerd te kunnen keepen en veel rust te kunnen uitstralen.'

Germany is in decline BOTH the country and their football team!! Look at their men these days...they are all a bunch of Ladyboys!!! And all the German women are lesbians who do nothing other then spray Berlin under the graffiti!

And their football team is even worse, yes they booked some decent results but that was only due to fixed draws.

Why should we? Reall countries have a monarhchy!! Lets face it, the entire Bild redaction would give a kidney to have a German monarchy again.
