Same applies for us. I know that we have an easier tie on paper than Pool, but to be able to rest Cech, Belletti, Alex, Carvalho, A Cole, Makelele, Ballack, Essien, Joe Cole, Drogba and Anelka before a Champions League tie is incredible. Thank god for the FA Cup. Wink

    Tis only Olympiacos though Wink

Should beat them home and away, but it always helps to rest the entire first team (or most of it at least) beforehand.

Subs: Martin, Arbeloa, Kewell, Gerrard, Pennant

I hate to sound petty, but this is exactly the fixture you want before a big Champions League tie. How many of them will start vs. Inter.

Carragher's the only certainty, the bsck 4 is pretty likely to be unchanged since they're our only 4 fit defenders. Kewell, Pennant, Gerrard and Mascherano will be in he reckoning in midfield and I expect Kuyt will start with Torres.

I just think Luis just got pwned.

How exactly? We've established I go to most of the games. Do you? Oh sorry I forgot you don't even live in this country never mind London, weren't you saying you didn't want to support West Ham after the draw with Birmingham the other week? silly boy.

I think Luis just handed out a pwning...

I like the name, mainly. And I vaguely remember being impressed with them in a cup game when I used to watch Italian football.

Well with that depressing, pitiful, gutless, weak and ultimately unsuprising defeat against lower league opposition it looks like the nation and not just the south coast know how low we've sunk in the past 5 years.

    Fucking awful.

We'll do well to stay up this season.
