Pranjic to Spurs ?

Rumour has it that Spurs are looking to buy LM Pranjic from Heerenveen :

Tottenham Hotspur ziet in Danijel Pranjic van SC Heerenveen de ideale speler om het manco aan de linkerkant op te lossen. Op die flank speelt nu noodgedwongen Steed Malbranque. Het contract van de Kroaat bij de Friese club loopt nog door tot 2012.

Juande Ramos, sinds afgelopen najaar manager van de Spurs als opvolger van Martin Jol, is al sinds november 2007 gecharmeerd van Pranjic. Engeland speelde toen op Wembley de EK-kwalificatiewedstrijd tegen Kroatië. Volgens Sky Sports ontving Ramos na dat treffen lovende rapporten van zijn scouts over de middenvelder van SC Heerenveen, hoewel hij slechts kort meespeelde.

Een delegatie van de Londense club bezocht vervolgens de oefeninterland Kroatië-Schotland. In dat duel maakte Pranjic indruk tegen Alan Hutton van Tottenham. Volgens de commerciële tv-zender zouden de Spurs inmiddels al contact hebben gelegd met de nummer vijf van de Eredivisie.

Pranjic is a great player, but will he suit Spurs and/or the EPL ?

What position? How old? What player is he like?

If he's who I think he is, don't Chelsea have some sort of agreement to sign him?

He's a Croat, a LM and a brilliant passer, he's become a favourite of all Dutch football lovers because of his elegant play....don't know if that will work in the EPL though....

Bentley, a little better than him though.

An upgrade to Malbranque, seemed to cut inside like him a lot also.
