    Ok, the new UEFA ruling has just come in, meaning that players will be punished if they wave a fake card at the ref.

    So how is this going to affect the biggest card wavers of them all?

    You have to predict how many cards Barca will receive in their next game under the new ruling....

    My prediction:

    Deco, Ronaldinho an Eto'o will all be sent off.

    Puyol, Messi and Xavi will all receive yellows.

    Total cards = 9

    How many youngsters will Arsenal steal?

    How many english players will be starting for Arsenal next season?

    How many times will Arsenal players dive to get a free kick in the CL final which will result in a goal? (I'm guessing none because you won't get to the final)

    How many times will Henry and Wenger whinge this season?

    How many trophies will you win this season?

    Nothing will change immediately except the English media and fans will only get more wound up when Puyol goes to the ref asking for a card.

    Over time though hopefully they'll stop. But don't expect the surrounding of the ref to stop, just the card-waving part.

    if rules count in la liga nothing will change since way too many do it(Real included).if it is only in CL i think it will happen rarely.

    You are very naive if you think the Spanish refs will follow the rules. They are the worst refs in europe. I dont see a ref refereeing in Mestalla and following the rules by the book otherwise the match would have to be called off due to not enough players on Valencia`s side.

    Deco (1 for a dive, 1 for a wave)

    Dinho (See Deco)

    Eto'o (1 for claiming someone on the pitch has made a racist remark. 1 for screaming at the ref)

    Puyol (1 for a dirty challenge - does this remind me of a certain game? Yikes Doh Rolling Eyes, 1 for waving a card)

    Messi (2 for diving)

    Xavi (1 for a dirty challenge, 1 for waving a card)

We aren't used to chavs invading the city but when Chelsea played here Barcelona was full of chavs. I didn't stab any of them 'cos tourism is a major source of income here but trust me, if it wasn't, there would be blood flowing down the streets of Barcelona.

    I was with an english mate here when we Barça went to Chavland and we were convinced that there was a new canal in London because of the tears of the Chelsea fans.

    Hopefully there will be another canal this year in London...

    VISCA EL BARÇA!!

    pd. I really hope you don't send death threats to barça, we are peaceful people here (unlike the racist madridistas).

    as if card waving is the worst thing in football. Late and cynical challenges preceding them are IMO as bad. Diving more as well, negative tactics, lack of gentlemanlike behaviour (from players and coach), bad refereeing, ball-groping etc.

    Do you know what annoys me the most? The english press acting as if they were the moral compass of the footballing world. It's wrong for Johnny Foreigner to wave his imaginary card but perfectly alright for Lumpard and Terry to run up to the ref and go "Book him ref".
