Messi and possibly Eto'o would get into the United first team. Puyol is unquestionably better than Brown, but I doubt many would argue that Ferdinand and Vidic aren't a better pairing than Puyol and Milito. If double double double negatives float your boat, United are a better team that Barcelona but they didn't really show it, Fergie Rafa'd his way to the final.

Re:Tevez. I don't consider running around defending a good performance from the FW.

So what did Eto'o do?

He was arguably the worst player out of everyone involved in the two legs.

He wasn't amazing but he was better than Tevez by default. He actually got into the box and threatened even if he messed it up eventually.

That isnt true. I thought Tevez looked good but mostly because it seemed like a training game at times where the players didnt even understand that it was a semifinal in Champions League. he was one of the fews that had the intensity that matched the setting of the game. offensivly he didnt do much that is true.

Well this is actually a good thread. Because im sure supermadrid and callidad would rate almost every barca player ahead of the Man Utd player.

yet these same guys are saying why didn't man utd win by more goals

partly because its not a game of individuals, its a team game and there was eneough good quality TEAM play from Barca in the final third too many passes (which 2 years ago were finding players) went astray

jees. i have never said that Barca are massivly supprior to Man utd but Man utd played as though they thought this was the case.
