Just had a look through the Spain squad, Thiago Alcantara (Barça) is supposed to be highly rated...and I think Daniel Pacheco is the kid Liverpool stole from us. Don't recognise any of the other names.

Hmm, maybe they've listed all the players used during qualification as well.

The squad lists on uefa.com are not accurate. Too many players on it. For example Bruma, who Chelski robbed from Feyenoord, is injured. Najah, who was brought him to replace him was already in the squad list before he was brought in. Think they posted the provisional squads or something like that.

Expect a lot from a few Holland players. Ajax' Geoffrey Castillion (my guess for player of the tournament) looks like an improved version of Kluivert & Feyenoord's Jerson Cabral will turn everybody inside-out. Rodney Sneijder is suppsoed to be better than Wesley & all Feyenoord players in the Dutch squad are better than Rodney.

Arsenal I hear are sniffing around Castillion, maybe a future move but he should remain for developmental purposes. I’ve heard a lot of good things and seen a lot of good things from him; if he’s been compared to a young Kluivert then that is some comparison.

Castillion is the reason Ajax won the B1/U16 league (Feyenoord finished 2nd, but we'll win the A1/U18 league & you'll finsh 4th or lower; Ajax & Feyenoord both will win their C1/U14 league; so Feyenoord's academy edges Ajax' this season). He scored 19 goals in 21 matches for Ajax U16s & scored 8 in 12 matches for Holland U17 (2 more & he breaks the record), making him the most important player during qualification. Voted best player in the U16 league.

France came back from 1-0 down & beat Ireland by scoring an injury time goal. The other match in their group, Spain v Switzerland, kicks off in 30 minutes.

At the same time it's hosts Turkey v Holland (which will be on Eurosport). In the other match in their group Serbia beat Scotland 2-0 by 2 Aleksic goals.

Spain booked a comfortable 2-0 win over the Swiss. Sergio Garcia had a barce.

Turkey started very bright v Holland and got an early 1-0 lead. Holland gradually improved, but failed to score (Castillion wasted chances, Midgetinho, Wesley little bro, was the best Turkish player) 10 minutes before time the Turks scored a second & in injury time they got a 3rd, Fully derserved win by Turkey.

Holland have to beat Serbia Wednesday. Would be a good idea if the Holland manager puts more Feyenoord players in the team (that's why we qualified).

Switzerland U17 - Ireland U17 1-0, Swiss still have an outside chance to qualify. In the same group tonight it's France v Spain. should be a good on.

Turkey are 1-0 up v Scots & look on course to qualify for semifinals. Karadeniz is a very good striker. In half an hour it's Holland v Serbia. Holland must win. Probably the player of the tournament so far, Aleksic, will get a hattrick. Hope Holland will drop Midgetinho who was incredibly shite last match.

I don't know any of these players, though I hear France have some dude called Clement who's supposed to be very good.

Arsenal's Gilles Sunu was disappoiting the first match. He's good though. Don't think France and Spain would mind a draw, which would mean France only will need a draw v the Swiss, assuming Spain will beat the Irish, who laready lost twice. (A) Sergio Garcia scored 2 last match for Spain.

Hope it will be a youth footy match and not a chess match.
