Fullbacks seem to be our weakest players...
Aanvalluhhhhhhhhh !
Maybe no-one else. I don't like a Makaay-Sibon partnership. Otherwise 1 of the attacking mids, taking De Haan Heerenveen biass into account it will not be Beerens, so De Guz or Bruins.Axeslammer wrote:Amrabat will lose his place for sure in the Olympic starting team, Donk probably too.
Who else ?
Vermeer, Jong-a-Ping (sp?), Brama, S De Jong, Bakx, Emnes, LensMarkus wrote:Who is on the subs bench for Jong Oranje?

We should build (the attacking part of) our team around Makaay, i.e. play De Guz & Bruins, who know his running lines & when & how he wants the ball passed to him.Axeslammer wrote:It's obvious we're missing an out and out striker / finisher in this team (Amrabat is playing completely out of position) : Makaay is gonna do so much damage in Beijing

Beg to differ. The LM & RM are the players closest to Makaay in 4-3-3 midfield pointing forward.Axeslammer wrote:Don Leo wrote:We should build (the attacking part of) our team around Makaay, i.e. play De Guz & Bruins, who know his running lines & when & how he wants the ball passed to him.Axeslammer wrote:It's obvious we're missing an out and out striker / finisher in this team (Amrabat is playing completely out of position) : Makaay is gonna do so much damage in Beijing
Would only be important if we're gonna switch to 4-4-2 instead of 4-3-3.
Bruins & De Guzman are too much alike for my taste, I'd replace one by Aissati.

Let Aissati play (witdrawn) right winger in stead of Beerens (will not happen)
Dunno about them.Axeslammer wrote:Don Leo wrote:Beg to differ. Most passes should be coming from Drenthe & Beerens reaching the backline.
Whatever happened to Vormer btw, shouldn't he also be in this team (and Geert Arend Roorda) ?
