How so? The boards themselves, or the colours/icons?

Re: Forum redesign?
There are various skins you can choose for forums, i have to say this is probaby the only good one. The rest are tacky or neon colours.

Re: Forum redesign?
Sorry. The design - icons and colours
I've seen this really nice football related one, but dor the life of me can't remember the address. Instead of this it has a football.
Would it be possible to do something like this site?

Re: Forum redesign?
Too many icons and colours makes it difficult to navigate though. And people like me who access at work will find it difficult

Re: Forum redesign?
this place is about the words, not the pictures. The layout is fine.
A large number of us post from work so the plain, no frills layout suits us just fine.

If you wanted all the people who post at work to stop posting, i.e. kill off the forum, then sure

Re: Forum redesign?
Only thing I would add is that there should be a General Football Discussion area. There have been times where I have created a topic that clashed with both English, Euro and world/international football as a whole but wasn't sure where to put that topic/thread.
It could also be a good place to discuss the rules of the game and all things similar.

We tried a general sports board (my idea infact ) and that wasn't really a hit. Think the board is fine as it's currently laid out, but good suggestion nevertheless.
What we need is a sister board. We had the dogs, but I was thinking something more feminine so we could attract some more female life. But before any of you gays get any ideas and ask nutters to go recruiting on the George Michael forums, I'm talking about feminine boards that do have some input of sport at least.

Hey not a dumb idea. As a female I can get very fed up with all the male stuff every now and then, + you get kinda sick off all the "cunt, whore" etc
You know what I mean. But then again, if you do make one for females it'll definitely be full of "who's sexiest, Ronaldo or Torres?" (not very different from Nightwing's threads)
