Individually no!

But you are aware positionally where the players play so you can relate to that. The view isn't as bad as it perhaps appears in the photographs although if you are worried of heights, i advise against it! The top of San Siro is open, you just fall back, there have been deaths in the past from people literally falling out of the stadium!

It really does look like a beautiful stadium though

i suffer from vertigo, so i'll give the san siro a miss.

It's not bad, but you have to make sure you sit in the front rows, not right at the top of the stands at the back. If you sit right in the middle of the fans you don't notice it.

I will post some pictures of mine of when i went to Palermo's stadium so you and your West Ham 'brigate' know what to expect from us

You will see that the atmosphere is something else!

I think i probably see about 10 Palermo matches over the last couple of seasons and just a few more Milan games, it is the money for flights that is the biggest obstacle, ticket prices are really cheap and otherwise i have my grandfathers season tickets

im trying to go, but we only have 2,000 tickets, and you need 10 priority points to be able to buy one and i have 8! wont give out hope of going though.

Deano, you can come in with me, but you would have to be quiet for the ENTIRE match and wear a Palermo shirt

We sit behind the goal quite near to the Rosanero Ultras

i'd sit in the palermo end in my italy shirt. I dont think they'd like my english accent though

Proud home of the Rosanero, one of my favorite stadiums in Italy and my 'second' team, i even managed to get a photo of the beautiful cliff face. Such a beautiful ground, nestled in the hills of the Sicilian coast, beautiful. Always a fantastic atmosphere, we sit in the Curva, very close above to the 'Brigate Rosanero' - the Palermo Ultras but far enough from the REAL headcases, the 'Warriors Ultras' the scum who fight and throw things. Seriously, to you Deano, please avoid these idiots.

No point going to one of them games if you've got asthma then.

Are flares still allowed (legally) into Italian games? (I know there would be one or two who would smuggle them in if they weren't)

They aren't allowed, but the Ultras are so powerful that they are often allowed into stadiums without being checked - the police are afraid of them and don't want the confrontation. Even if they are checked, police will turn a 'blind eye' to the weapons. Flares and knives are common, it's a shame but a problem for our football, having said that most trouble happens not in the stadia but in the surrounding streets.

Take plenty of scarves though to wrap round your mouth and nose, youre eyes water like crazy sometimes!
