So Berbatov & Keane have gone off to fufil their champions league aspirations for Barcelona & Drogheda respectively, and Darren Bent has gone because, he's, well, a bit $h!t, and with approx £65mil coming in with these transfers including others (i.e. if Sunderland still want to pay for 3-4 players, and Robinson leaves), and you get to spend half of it,

What would you do ?

Terry £20m
Henry £15m
Torres £30m

Spurs would suddenly become a title contending team

Ramos seems to like Bent

Ashton should go down well

Campbell or Saha = part of the Berbatov deal

Bentley = £16-£18m

Pavlyuchenko = £12m

Crespo = free transfer

TOTAL = £30m

Good suggestion with Pavlyuchenko...but Crespo back in London? Not only would he reject it, it'd be an awful idea from Spurs even if they did manage to convince him.

I was thinking of Santa Cruz but i think Spurs want Bentley more.

Martins would be a really good signing.

David Bently - £16million

If Blackburn were to sell Bentley they would look to bring in players in exchange as well.

i.e Robinson in as a Friedel replacement who might be Aston Villa bound.

The reason for this is that we will apparently be entitled to 40% of any fee received for the player.

Bent isn't $h!t, he's just one dimentional. Play to his strengths and he'll be a different player. Not an £18m player, but still a decent EPL forward.

Berbatov and Keane replacements don't grow on trees. Certainly not budget versions. Gamble on Lee Trundle, David Nugent and whoever the latest West Ham prodigy is, spend the rest on Bentley and more gold.

I'm not sure how realistic these are but i would go for Pandev, Matias Fernandes, Manuel Fernandes, and i would keep Darren Bent.

I'd keep Bent as well, especially as he'd be a good sub and the fact you won't get much back on what you paid.

If you can get Santa Cruz and Bentley from Blackburn for around £25 - 30 million, what you get for Berbatov that would be a great deal.

As for Keane replacement, either Ashton or Pavlyuchenko, both would really be good with the service Bentley can provide.

Ashton signed a new 5 year £50,000 a week contract last month. So kinda screws that idea...

If I was a Spurs fan i'd be incredibly angry if we sold our two best players, no one can replace them really.

I think Spurs should sign Danny Mills £8m and Corradi £8m.

That's what I'd like as most of our midfielders and also Bent would be better suited for this formation. And also our transfer activity this summer might hint to a formation change.

Vucinic may seem unrealistic as he has CL but he doesn't start all the time and may want to move to a higher profile league.

Ramos was in CL with Sevilla but still came after all.

Can't see Arshavin going to Spurs. I believe he's said he'll only go to a club in the CL. Same for Pognerbyak (sp?) as well.

Have only seen Pavlyuchenko in the Euros, but I thought he was very impressive. A little wasteful, but a lot of talent.

I can see Ramos in for someone like Santa Cruz & Bentley. Don't think McFadden would be a bad buy either.

Maybe even someone like Diego Milito but at 29, he may not have too much left him in him, particularly given the fact he made need a season to adapt.

In that case he'd be 1st choice.

Spurs wont be able to sign anyone, since their butter wouldn't melt stance will stop them from bidding for or even thinking about opposition players.

I doubt Roma would sell Vucinic, he's their replacement for Totti when he gets to the point of being injured more often than not isn't he?
