Anyway, if he avoids injuries, I think it'll be Etoo. Messi will also score loads, again depending on how many games he plays.

Villa has a chance.

Guiza's gone, so the best "dark horse" candidate is probably someone like Guerrero of Recreativo.

The other usual suspects are not looking good on the basis of pre-season:
- Espanyol have been awful so I don't know what to expect from Tamudo.

- Atletico have also struggled against some mediocre teams, and Aguero will score goals but will be tired...Forlan will have to step up.

- Villarreal's goals will probably be shared between Nihat/Rossi/Llorente and the midfielders, but they are again showing signs of failing to meet last year's high expectations.

- And Sevilla will have to rely on Kanoute again I think, because surely Luis Fabiano won't repeat last season? Chevanton will get a few goals, but I doubt he'll be pichichi.

Oh yes he will. Luis Fabiano has shown in the pre-season that he won't be a one season wonder. Chevanton has also done really well.

I like Rossi's odds. But i shall go for Kanoute. imo Messi will easily outscore Etoo and Ruud in the big names department.

I assume you mean 'cos Eto'o will be injured - otherwise no chance.

I think Eto has a big season ahead, to retain his value as a top striker hes got to deliver.... particularly if he wants to leave Barca (don't know if this is actually what he wants)

Safe bet is RVN though, consistantly delivers with goals.

If Eto'o stays fit then he will win the pichichi.. If not then it will be RVN.

There's never any question about him delivering - he is always among the top scorers and assisters in CL as well as the numbers I've provided above.

Pep's new system may have a positive/negative effect on his goal tally.

I think it will be positive if he can make sure that he is starting.. We seem to be playing faster and more aggressive, so I expect us to score more goals but also leak quite a bit more.

And Pep, unlike Rijkaard, will most likely not make Eto'o play on the wing.

But yes, of course he is able to deliver... if he is fit and in the right mindset.

I dont know because after the last injury Eto lost some pace and all of those goals he got last season were against Cr@p or at least most of them. the last half of the season he was Cr@p.

Eto'o or Henry

Eto'o was injured most of last season, went to the AFC when not 100% fit and still managed to score 16 goals, i would have score more if the team was playing well. the man is the best striker out there do of that their can be no doubt

im not even sure he will start for Barcelona and i dont think a single barca fan(or football fan) would mind. so far he has been a waste of space and i doubt he will much better this season. he will prob find a new excuse along the way.

He'll start regularly, at least till Jan, since we haven't bought any other left sided player.

Well im guesing Pep has some sense so after 5-10 games of crappy performances he realises that anything is better.
