Spanish league fantasy football Empty Spanish league fantasy football

The new La Liga season starts this Saturday, so there are only a few days left to join our fantasy league...a few of the regulars are missing from the board this year, so hopefully this will attract some newcomers.

We're playing the ESPN game, which is mostly similar to other games, but has a slightly different scoring system, and 2 major rule differences:
    1. You only have 30 transfers for the whole season
    2. Subs do not come in automatically to your team if someone doesn't play. So you just have to gamble on picking the right 11 from the start.

I would like to play but, sadly, FF is like Big Brother.

The format was fine but people then start fannying around with it.

You see a player who could be a dark horse and others haven't picked him but what's the point when everyone else can just transfer him into the team once his form becomes apparent ?

But you've still got the head start over them by the time they pick that player too!

And trust me, 30 is quite less because you have to use up more than half just because of injuries. La Liga is also much more in flux than the Premier league - managers are getting sacked and fired at the rate of 2 or 3 a season, players fall in and out of favour, there's a winter break that affects form/momentum, etc.
