Does anyone care?

Obviously, its our ticket to the UEFA Cup. Easy win this round.

Should be called the midtable cup. Relegation threatened teams wont bother with it and the big 4 have bigger fish to fry. Chelsea will be there or thereabouts simply because it's impossible for them to put out a weak side, it's the only way the likes of Newcastle, Tottenham, Middlesborough and West Ham will qualify for Europe so expect to see 2 or 3 of them in the semis.

Semis

Well I for one care, as this is a great chance for Saints to get some money in the bank in terms of prize money and TV money. We really should play our 1st team vs Rotherham as 4th round is only a couple of steps away from a semi-final which is certain to be a good money spinner and even if we don't go that far, simply getting through gives us a good chance of drawing a Prem team.

Glad to see that Pompey have a tough draw as some of the more cavalier supporters amongst us said they wouldn't mind getting them in the cup. Todays results for both teams show that really isn't what we want.

Its a good chance for a low tier teams to get in Europe , the most intimidating opponents ofcourse are Arsenal kids and Chelsea reserves.
