    YO KIMBO! Empty YO KIMBO!

Jonas was KO early in the game with a very tough but fair tackle. Looks like a busted shoulder or clavicle.

Yo LRD! Juan Vargas was immense, he had Messi in his pocket the whole frigging game. It's the first time I see a left back stop Messi cold the entire match. Not only that, get this, Vargas in stoppage time (we were down 0-1) steals the ball deep in our own half and then beats not one but THREE Argies down his left flank running all out saying I REFUSE TO LOSE TONIGHT and feeds Fano for the tying goal. Shocked

Stuff of legends! The best left back in the world BY FAR! <Ale>

Kimbo sorry about fucking up your man Jonas, but it was a game we couldn't afford to lose. It's too bad it was your man that the message was sent to. <Ale>

Basile speaks: "the score reflects what happened on the pitch".

SHITE! how about the two goal line clearances by Argentina??? Perú with our starting strike force beat Argentina. We miss Guerrero, Farfán, and Pizarro dearly.

Basile: "Vargas was a monster, I'm happy for him". <Ale>

I've been really busy DS, but I try sometimes to pop in here once in a while. Biggrin

Here's the video in case anyone want to watch it. I know Fey likes good football so he'll watch it. Yo Fey, I looked at your group. Bolivia walks that group. Marcelo Moreno may be stopped cold by the vaunted defenses of Scotland, Norway, Macedonia though. Biggrin <Ale>

Take out the danger man. Those tactics remind me of the old Wimbledon team with Vinnie Jones et al.

It wasn't a dirty tackle at all, Kimbo. It was a perfectly legal tackle, very tough, yes, but with no malice at all. Jonas flew and sort of did a 360 in mid air landing on his right shoulder me thinks. We are not a dirty team. If we were we would've broken Messi's legs like Bilardo ordered his sub Camino to break our forward Navarro's knee back in '85. Messi played the whole match. <Ale>

We see players "taken out" with "legal" tackles all the time. Just because you get the ball, it doesn't mean the ball is your priority. <Ale>
