This is our table league with only 7 rounds to go, clearly 5 teams have real chaces to win the damn thing and the fight only got better, yesterday Palmeiras lost to Fluminense (thanks God) and Cruzeiro lost to Atletico Paranaense.

I still have no idea who its gonna win, but its gona be fun, its nice to be part of this fight, but I just hope Sao Paulo doesnt win $h!t. Very Happy

Important to note that Gremio and Cruzeiro will face eachother next round, and Palmeiras and Gremio still have to play, so there is still hope for us Flamengo fans Ale Biggrin

Looks like nobody is interested in the Brazilian league this year!! That of course, has anything to do with Corinthians not in it.

I hope Gremio wins it!! We cant have Palmeiras as the winner, the contes will be unbearable then, and that would totally outshine our promotion title...so we cant have that! Same goes for Sao Paulo Flamengo are contes too, but will bottle it anyway.

Cruzeiro would be a nice winner too, but I prefer Gremio.

    cheers Todo,

Ever since I went to Brazil I totally felt Corinthians were my team.

The weird thing is that my local tv channel broadcasts Brazilian and Argentinean football...so next year I can follow my beloved Cortinthians even more easily!

Cruzeiro wouldn't be a nice winner, Fey. Let's cheer for Grêmio and Flamengo, mate. Their fans are great. The last time Flamengo won a major title was in 1992. I would like to see them winning.

The league is really exciting and unpredictable this year, but TV ratings dropped because a small club got relegated last season. Smile Welcome back, Todo.

Flamengo fans are nice like Juli! And they create some great chants like "Obina is better than Eto'o"...

    Hello my Brazilian friends!

    How´s Ibson doing these days?

We´re in need of a new 6er for our midfield diamond and I think he would be ideal.

Do you think he would leave Brazil? I mean I remember he wanted to stay for some time after his marriage, but that was more than a year ago meanwhile.

So how do our Brasilian experts rate Fluminense's Lenny (Fernandes Coelho)? Any news in Brasil about him going to Arsenal? or are the rumours a load of bollox. Wonder why we would need him.

If we sign him, it's a pity Henry is gone. Would have been a great strikepartnerhip.

Lenny is sh!t. He is not good enought to lace Van Persie and Adebayor boots.

Question for our South America's experts - any upcoming games worth taking a look? It can be some interesting match on his own, or match where some interesting players (just before jumping to european ships) will play?

Manchester United Academy has joined up with the Brazilian youth club Desportivo Brasil.

The exciting football-driven venture will see players from both clubs
visiting each country for the opportunity to experience new training
    methods and play friendly matches.

The project, driven by Brian McClair, Les Kershaw and John Calvert
Toulmin (United's South American recruitment officer), is seen as an
    invaluable learning curve for players.

While Desportivo have an excellent team of professionals, the Academy
will provide technical support to improve Desportivo’s preparation of
young players, optimising the chance that players from their club will
    excel when moving to Europe.

United Academy coaches from different age groups will visit Brazil on a
regular basis and Desportivo coaches will be welcomed on reciprocal
visits. For United, this will provide invaluable insight into the way
the five-time world champions approach the beautiful game.

Academy manager Brian McClair said: “It is exciting to be involved with
such an innovative partnership that allows each club to glean knowledge
from each other and so develop the future of football.”

United chief executive David Gill added: “This is a fantastic
opportunity for our coaches and Academy players. They will gain
invaluable knowledge and experience from Desportivo. Brazilian football
has always been consistent and we already have a strong Brazilian
contingent at the club. This will forge an even stronger relationship.

"Desportivo Brasil is located in the city of Itu, an hour’s drive from
Sao Paulo, and is focused on youth football. The club fields teams
competing in the Sao Paulo state championship at U15, U17 and U20
    level.

They are currently putting the finishing touches to a new training
complex that, when completed, will be one of the top facilities
exclusively for junior football in the world. Desportivo’s head
consultant is Brazil’s World Cup-winning coach Carlos Alberto Parreira.
