Big 2 in action today. Real Madrid are suffering from injuries - Robben and Van Nistelrooy - while Guti has been benched by Schuster. VDV and Gago will come in. I think Malaga will give them a real game, and that run of 2 wins in 7 games could (hopefully) become 2 in 8.
Barça up against Valladolid...would expect a win with all the "cracks" returning to the starting 11. But we'll be up against Sergio Asenjo, the talented keeper who we have been tracking for quite a while. And you just know that it's the kind of situation where he'll produce several match-winning saves.
Tomorrow, I think Sevilla can finally end their 5 game losing streak by at least getting a point against Recreativo...Getafe might give Valencia a tough game, and Atletico (who are ticking along nicely now after the disastrous spell when they faced the other big teams) should be able to get a win away to bottom team Osasuna, who according to Marca have the fewest points of the last-placed teams in all the European leagues.
