Seems like he has gone missing. I know he has previous for this but it seems a little strange that he is completely out of contact...

ps Wonder what happened with Kaladze, Oliviera and Robinho? Surely with the kind of money they have you'd pay up instantly to get your loved ones back???

Feel very sorry for Kaladze. Did they ever catch who did this to his brother? Fooking sick world somtimes...

There's a report going round that he was found by police partying in a favela at the house of a drug dealer.

While another report (based on his agent's comments) is that he's just decided to relax at home with family, maybe watch a few local football games, before flying back in a few days.

Either way, I'd be amazed if Inter don't rescind his contract after this. His professional career in Europe should be over...at best now I can see him playing for some Brazilian club that is willing to indulge his unprofessional attitude.

Yeah, I will be shocked if we take this one lightly. I hope we sack his sorry ass out of europe. Enuf is enuf!!

In fact, I hope we don't rescind the contract. Make him sit on the stands and practise with the primavera for the rest of teh season first... then throw him out!

It's Inter's fault too for putting up with this for so long.

I do agree with that... Inter are sometimes too nice with their "stars", and most of the blame for that falls on Moratti. Invariably these guys are Moratti's favourites... Adriano, Ronaldo, Recoba, etc...

But the last 2 years, Inter haven't done that badly with Adriano... mostly thanks to the coaches - Mancio and Mourinho have tried to give discipline more importance. Yeah, we gave him too many chances, and in hindsight its easy to say that Inter screwed up... but if Adriano had turned around, Inter would have got a lot of credit for sticking with a player thru his hard times and bringing him around.

Anyways, what interests me more now is what happens next. If Inter don't take the hardest of actions, it will be very disappointing... we will risk giving the wrong kind of message to players like Balotelli who could easily head down this route...

I say sell him now to whoever is willing to pay more than the price of one caipirinha for him!

A sad, sad story - this is/was a great player whose million-dollar legs have been betrayed by a ten-cent mind.

adriano is clearly depressed or something.
nobody would go that far into blindingly self-harming his professional life without having some sort of real neurosis.

good luck to whatever team thinks about signing him.
it's not a matter of controlling, educating, punishing him... until he realises he has to cure himself, try that, and succeed, he'll aways be unreliable.

the typical pattern is: do something very stupid; get the anger of the coach, realize you could lose everything and end up alone, repent, do ok for a while, and when everything seem settled, do something stupid again with no apparent reason.

Probably, but he loves troubled Brazilian stars(especially if they're on the cheap) more than anything. Wink

Not that any club can depend on Adriano but I'm sure if Inter were willing to sell to Milan Galliani would make an offer, I remember Berlusconi saying on a few occasions that he really likes Adriano.

I am sure now you can have him for free. I don't know an Inter fan who is not sick of Adriano. We don't want him to wear that jersey again, not now, not ever. We have given him more than enuf chances, I am sure even Moratti realises that his Inter career is over now.

I so much rather Inter play Cruz or even young Di Napoli than Adriano.
