Pepe reacted terribly, but tbf the guy dived.

Yeah, but that was just street thug behavior. If I wanted to see that I'd watch Tyson bite ears off.

    Enjoy the win.

Truly disgraceful from Pepe. He will deserve every single game that he is suspended.
He should be banned at least three games or more. It is so infuriating a talented player like him behave like that. If he doesn't see what he did was uttery inexcusable, he should be banned for life.
    Salute

Roy Keane, Cantona, Zidane, Totti, Rooney and many more have all done worse things without really apologizing. Pepe didn't even kick the little wimp hard at all.

I'm angry at Pepe for what he will cost the team with his absence. But let's face it, if that was Cristiano Ronaldo in the ground after another dive people in here would be cheering.
Apart from Zidane, the players listed are the ones I really detest and I would have been happy if they had been bannded for life. Also, how hard he kicked is totally irrelevant (and you calling Casquero a wimp, but Pepe is even worse than that with his diving).

C.Ronaldo is probably the player I detest most in the current football, but I would not condone such an act iev if it was made upon him.

It's unacceptable behaviour from Pepe, he will be suspended for many games (and rightly so) and then it should move forward. A lifelong ban is a bit extreme.

I didnt know Pepe punched him Yikes All I saw was the kick.

The conte deserved it, but it really leaves us short in the coming weeks when we play Sevilla, Valencia, Barca, Villarreal. Really does dent the slim chance we had to win the leauge.

    HIGUAIN cheers
    GAGO cheers
    PEPE lol!
    NO PASILO cheers
    NO CELEBRATION IN BERNABEU cheers

Fucking hell what a match. I have no idea what was on Pepes mind but fuck me I laughed hard. He deserves whatever punishment he gets but if you are going to get banned you better do it right. Biggrin
Since winter I only one/two goals which was that Barca shouldn't get a pasilo or be able to win it in the Bernabeu. We haven't won for at Sevilla for at least as long as I can remember so go there without Robben/Pepe/Higuain will be terrible plus we have Raul and Huntelaar who are about equally useless allthough with some of Huntelaars bad touches he might actually skim Raul. Yikes

    Here it is:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SNQgn-z8dM

Pepe should be banned for the rest of the season at least.

Note how the Spanish commentators call it a clear penalty. He did push him and if you've ever been pushed while running you know that you will fall down.

    lol!

What a mad bastard..think a life ban is somewhat OTT but definitely a good few games banning. Whats the usual for this sort of thing..5 or 6 games?

Dont think it was a penalty though..he never went down when the contact was made, there was some delay then he chucked himself..

and lol! at the actual penalty.

It's still possible, no? If we beat Sevilla and Valencia, and you lose to Sevilla, that's a 9 point gap going into El Clasico. A win there would give us a 12 point lead with 4 games left and head to head advantage, meaning we would be champions.

Not very likely, and unfortunately not highly probable like it looked at one point last night, when Pepe went mental lol!

But fucking Casquero decided to take a Berbalti Doh

There's a slight chance that he will get close to 10 games but I don't think it will happen. It's not so much because of the violence of the act, but in principle he got red carded 4 times. First, Pepe would have gotten a second yellow for taking down Casquero for the penalty. Then there's the direct red for kicking him while he was down. Then he punched another Getafe player in the face after getting pushed. And finally, he went into the field to celebrate the goal with his teammates after they scored lol!

Like someone else said, if you're gonna go down you might as well go down in style Cool

How about kicking Guti every time he's lazy? These gestapo tactics might just be the motivation he needs.

It's mathematically possible of course but with your CL games against Chelsea I just can't see it happening. You have too much going on to be able to win the next 3 games with us losing two.

Robben's injury will be crucial though. If he misses el clasico then your chances of beating us in the Bernabeu will multiply exponentially.. We'll have to rely on Royston Drenthe again. And of course, there's also Fatty Van der Vaart to come to the rescue Doh

Someone needs to sort out a gif of Pepe kicking Casquero, and we should all have it as our avatar. Up there with some of the most bizarre incidents that we've seen on a football pitch Laughing

It's not as amusing as the punch-ups between Diogo and Luis Fabiano a couple of seasons ago. Kicking an opponent while not in play and he is on the ground is no laughing matter, unless you are an idiot who is into happy-slapping and all that sh!t. Mad

As for his punishment, now he has admitted his wrongdoing (though he didn't apologise to Albin for punching him in the face), take it at a face value.

Kicking out at Casquero - 3 games
    Punching Albin - 3 games
Swearing at official - 1 game
Coming on to pitch after sending off - 1 game

Give or take a couple of days, it is probably going to be 7 matches (i.e. the rest of the season).

What an idiot; at such a critical time for the team. Doh He should be fined and should not get paid for the rest of the season.

My sources at the LFP have told me it will be a four match ban with a hefty fine.

Along with that Pepe will be fined by RM as a means of internal discipline.
