Of course, Solano was a solid technically good mid table player...Lennon can be one of the best wingers in the world.

Should be 5-0. Heskey is hilarious.

Lennon' is the best performance. He set up Heskey for that 1 on 1, could well have scored himself poor finish but he made the whole situation and then has 2 assists as well if you count winning a pen as an assist.

Gerrard is working okay running in from the left Rooney is playing deep interchanging and Heskey holds the ball up. Lennon does the business on the right we are looking good.

Croatia's tactics are guff, Lennon is up against a slow fullback and they're giving him a ton of space. Bilic is being shown up, even more than Heskey.

Lennon's had a great game. Should definitely put him above SWP in the pacy lil' wingers chart.

and Kimbo - even if the LB(s) haven't been doing well, Lennon is still exploiting the space very successfully.

Are Pierre/Shaz seriously saying this England side isn't an improvement on the Mclaren/Sven era?

    It's not perfect,

but Capello has clearly got this England side playing it shorter, being more patient on the ball.

    Heskey needs to come off

I never said he wasn't, based on this he should keep the spot. I'm just saying this is the perfect game for him.

Heskey is invaluable to the midfield he really is so easy to beat up on, as long as the team keeps scoring well and England looks in control more than their opposition why would you risk not starting him.

If we all said it was no different from Mclaren, Pierre and Shaz would be claiming this side is a huge improvement and can keep the ball better as well as hold possesion...they like to be different. It's cute really.

What can he do that Carlton Cole can't?
