Everton Starlet Arrested

Everton starlet Jose Baxter has been arrested on suspicion of posessing drugs and counterfeit money.

Highly-rated striker Baxter was one of three men arrested in Kirkby on Monday on suspicion of possession of cannabis and on suspicion of possessing counterfeit money.

The 17-year-old is the youngest player to represent Everton, having made his debut aged 16 years and 191 days against Blackburn Rovers in August 2008.

"We can confirm that three men were arrested in Kirkby on possession of cannabis with intent to supply and on suspicion of possession of counterfeit money," said a spokesman for Merseyside Police.

"The men, 17, 29 and 34 are currently in police custody."

They have since been released on bail by Merseyside Police. Everton Football Club have so far refused to comment on the matter.

A midfielder at Aston Villa Football Club has been arrested during training on suspicion of conspiracy to rob.

Isaiah Osbourne, from Birmingham, was arrested at the club's training ground in Bodymoor Heath, Warwickshire, at about 1030 BST on 2 October.

West Midlands police said the 21-year-old player had been bailed pending further inquiries. They are not looking for anyone else over the incident.

The club said it was aware of the arrest but made no further comment.

I didnt know Johnson had done anything illegal ?? Ive heard the rumours he has been drinking and partying a bit too much but there is no real proof of that and even if he has been..its not illegal.

Osbourne always been rumoured to be linked with some dodgy folk. He ain't got a future at Villa now, I wouldn't have thought. He'd already dropped well down in the reckoning after being a big hope in O'Neill's first season

He definitely isn't next Rooney, probably will be an improved version of Osman . And, as I've read a few stories about him, probably more troublemaking version of Osman.

What??? It's surprising to see him playing so much as DM/CM (and doing so well), because for years he was touted to be next Rio Ferdinand (didn't he also start in midfield though) and played mostly as CB in junior competition. But because he has a decent vision, he's good on the ball and he's very athletic he was moved to DM/CM and it's possible he will continue there.
