Goran Pandev Blasts Lazio Nightmare, Wants To Remain In Serie A
The Macedonian international is now a free agent...After the Lega Calcio ruled in favour of Goran Pandev, his contract with Lazio has been rescinded and the player revealed he would like to try his luck with another Serie A club.
"I am delighted that I am finished with this nightmare. Now my dream is to remain in Italy and play," he was quoted as saying by Sky.
The 26-year-old was frozen out by Lazio after being branded 'a rebel' for his desire to leave the club this past summer, however, the Rome-based outfit refused to accept any offers under their evaluation of €19 million. He has not made a single appearance for the Biancocelesti this campaign.
"Finally, I can leave a person who treated me very badly," he continued, referring to Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
"[Coach Davide] Ballardini also committed wrongs against me. He had a shameful attitude towards me. Lotito and [sporting director Igli] Tare are not worthy enough to run a club like Lazio."
Pandev is now free to negotiate with any team.
