how much debt are Bayern in?

As Kimbo alludes, UEFA wont do anything to piss off Man Utd, Real Madrid etc as they will simply form their own breakaway tournament which will instantly be more attractive to sponsors than the CL.

The threats of forming a so called Superleague are complete and utter bullshit; it will will never, EVER happen.

Under whose jurisdiction would the superleague come under? Would FIFA/UEFA even allow it to go ahead? I imagine that FIFA/UEFA could easily ban any player taking part in such a competition.

the footballing world would have to be turned on its head if the superleague were to take place.

as ole said, fifa would ban all national associations who has clubs taking part is this competition from participating in any Fifa tournament, so no WC, for most players and countries.

so it would also require, the national associations to with draw from fifa and start their own federation and most countries will not do this.

Very Happy so if Fifa want to ban national associations then the national associations will set up their own super league

It is the clubs that have the power, not the governing body. The clubs can exist without FIFA, FIFA cannot exist without the clubs.

They could not ban clubs from joining a superleague, particularly if said clubs had been excluded from the CL for non football reasons.

There would be absolutely no chance of them banning national associations either, ban England and Spain you'll soon get support from other nations who would threaten to boycott the tournament. The tournament becomes undervalued without it's best players

It's all hypothetical anyway because FIFA will not interfere in how clubs are run, this is slow news day run off with a quote goal.com nonsense

Excellent move, I hope they implement something like this. I am very impressed with Platini-the-administrater so far. Finally someone with a vision who is not afraid to make some changes.

    Hi Ozil,

Zerooney scored 4 goals today. 19 goals in the Premier League. Top scorer in England. It's fun proving you and Otto wrong.

    Have a nice day Ale

Who cares? You were complaining he doesn't score enough goals. He's now top scorer in England. All strikers in England get to play against Hull City and Portsmouth. It's not like Rooney has an advantage.

19 goals. And there is still a lot of games left this season.

Tell me, how is Klose's scoring record looking this season?
