What's your opinion on him?
I think he's the dog's bollocks. He's ridiculosuly talented albeit a bit immature.
He's a great dribbler, his close control at full pace is almost Messi like, two footed and can pick up good positions in the final 3rd. What seperates him from typical ball hoggers is his passing range and vision are very good.
He's very similar to Arshavin. I'd say a better dribbler but not as mature and consistent. Maybe that will come with age and experience.
He's been selected for the French national team for the 1st time in 2 years. That's quite remarkable for a player who looked to be frozen out by his manager just few months ago. It looks like he's finally woken up coz he's been awesome for Marseille since the turn of the year. Personally i think he'll flourish better in a league that doesn't place too much emphasy on defence (like the French league) especially under a manager like Wenger or Ferguson. This is because just like Arshavin, he's not always interested in tracking back. But that wouldn't be such a big problem under Wenger coz he'll give him enough freedom to express his talent and not burden him with too much defensive work. He's also good dealing with talented yougsters who are widely perceived to have got difficult characters. I hope Wenger buys him and loan him back to Marseille for a year. A perfect Arshavin replacement.
