Yep. We're bloody bwilliant.
Apparently Bentley was excellent tonight.

But now you're trying to say he is..and Pav isnt? Thats what we call hypocrisy
And at least Huntelaar ended up at one of the biggest clubs in the world. They dont want Pav though, no no.

I was just going by your standards. It's a world cup year, and any Intl. striker will want regular football, but whatever, he scored again tonight;
15 goals from 26 starts
Redknapp wants Pav to stay
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has no plans to allow striker Roman Pavlyuchenko to leave the club before the close of the transfer window next Tuesday.
Spartak Moscow today revealed they are willing to pay £10million for the 27-year-old who has struggled to maintain a first-team place at White Hart Lane. But after watching the Russia international score in his side's 5-1 Carling Cup win at Doncaster, Redknapp revealed he had met with the player's advisors to discuss the situation and has no desire to see him leave north London.
"His people came down the training ground yesterday, they wanted to have a meeting with me to talk about him," Redknapp said. "He doesn't want to go and they don't want him to go. He's very happy."
He added: "His only concern was missing out on the World Cup as he needs to play for Russia but it wasn't a case of him wanting to leave. He's got no issues with the club, he's very happy in London, happy at the club. I don't think anything's going to happen.
"I don't know what we paid for him, you wouldn't get him for £10million anyway. The feedback I had yesterday from him and his people was that he didn't want to go so I don't see him going. I'd like to keep him."

So did Shola, the similarities grow.

Has Shola Ameobi ever scored a Premiership goal? I can't honestly remember. Perhaps back in 2005?

The reality is there. He's looking for a move rather than trying to prove he's decent. I would do the same if I knew I wasnt up to the task too
Shouldn't Huntelaar have done the same at Madrid then?
Wasnt Huntelaar told he was surplus?
So were Sneijder & Robben.. and they are staying and fighting. Coward

Puro wrote:WOW! such a rich club being led to the ground by Harry Redknapp. Big mistake firing Juande Ramos. Spurs should've just get rid of the trash Woodgate, Bentley, Modric etc instead of firing one of the best coaches around. In Perú a while back, a very good coach was having a hell of a time with Sporting Cristal. He told the management to rescind the contract of FIVE players immediately or it was himself leaving.
The board let the players go, and Sporting Cristal became champs. "Puro! who was the coach" I hear you...his name Paulo Autuori. He also won Copa Libertadores with Sao Paulo, and also beating Liverpool for the World Club Cup.
Huge mistake firing Juande Ramos. Dirty Harry was, is, and will always be just a fucking fireman, a midtable (at best) coach. When the rah rah stuff is done, Harry's gone too.
Be careful with Spurs. A team in big trouble now. The Carling Cup was their last chance for any sign of progress, something to look forward to for next season, something to build on as in UEFA Cup. However, that's gone now. All of a sudden the future looks very bleak for them Spurs. I wouldn't want to be a Spurs player. It's the pits for them now.

Tottenham Hotspur to look for reinforcements after Luka Modric breaks his leg
Harry Redknapp is likely to enter the transfer market again before Tuesday's deadline after it was revealed that Luka Modric broke his leg against Birmingham City yesterday.
The influential midfielder limped off during Tottenham Hotspur's 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane following a tackle by Lee Bowyer. He was replaced by Peter Crouch, who went on to score the winner.
A statement on the club's website said: "X-rays have determined that Luka Modric sustained a fracture to his right fibula during Saturday's victory over Birmingham City at White Hart Lane."
Ledley King also failed to emerge from the dressing room at half time, Redknapp revealing that his captain had damaged his groin.
"Ledley has done his groin and we don't know how long he will be out yet," the Tottenham manager said. "But Modric's looked like a nasty injury on the side of the right calf."
"If we lose Ledley and Modric with Michael Dawson and Jonathan Woodgate already out, the squad is a bit short."

Bad luck, wish him a quick recovery - Nasri had the same break, and that's 2 months out.
