My thanks to Besiktas. You broght Quaresma back.

From now on i do have a favorite club in Turkish football.
It's Besiktas, because they managed to bring back the real Quaresma.
Take a look at his last performance, one great assist (1-0) and a fantastic goal (2-0) :

I've always liked RQ, but it's frustrating that a player with his talent has never performed at a "big" club.

From now on, I HATE Quaresma!!! We paid so much money for him. We had so many hopes from him. We gave him so many chances for 2 years. Yet not a single performance like that, not even a hint of it... and in his first game for now club... grrrr...

But seriously, happy for him... he was way too talented to watch football from the stands... I hope he becomes the player he once was.... and I hope Mancini and Suazo follow his example and leave Inter to rediscover themselves. When you hit rock bottom at a club, a change can only do you good...

Looks like RObinho is going to Besiktas also. So nice little team they got there.

One thing known about Quaresma is that he needs to be free on the field. If he has to play too tied to a tactic he will not perform. He played free at Sporting (Boloni, his coach at the time, compared him to a wild mustang), he played free at Porto and now he does again at Besiktas. Trying to change him will never work, he is Gipsy, fredom of mouvement is on his nature.

I remember there were stories of Rafa trying to sign him a few years back and talks were held between himself and Quaresma(I'm 99% sure I posted the article in The Times(?) a couple of years ago as I was pretty keen we signed him ). The stumbling block in his potential move to us was apperantly, he wouldn't conform with Rafa's ways of having to track back and such so the deal was quashed rather quickly as obviously Rafa was not going to budge on his philosphy.
